Maurice Schaerer recognized the changing requirements and used his technical know-how to develop operation, sterilization and disinfection equipment. The Schaerer company did not only set standards in medical technology, however, but laid the foundation for our modern company with the design of the first steam-driven coffee machine in 1924.
